When a feeder trips, many people call at once and local lines stay busy. MEPCO advises using the headquarters numbers or 0800-63726 in that case. Circle-wise numbers are on MEPCO offices and contact numbers.

Register a complaint online (CCMS)

  1. Open the official Complaint Management System at ccms.pitc.com.pk (linked from MEPCO’s website as “Complaint Cell”).
  2. Select MEPCO and enter your reference number.
  3. Choose the complaint type (supply, billing, meter, etc.) and describe the problem.
  4. Submit and note the complaint number. Use it to track progress.

Track a MEPCO complaint

Whichever way you register, write down the complaint number straight away. It’s the reference MEPCO staff use to find your case. For MEPCO complaint tracking, quote that number when you follow up on 118 or 0800-63726, or check the complaint again on CCMS.

If you complained more than once about the same problem, keep every number. It shows how long the issue has been open, which helps when you escalate to the SDO, the headquarters lines or NEPRA.

Which office handles what

Outage, voltage, sparking

Show the bank receipt to the customer service officer to get it corrected.

Low voltage in the area

Contact your SDO, XEN or SE; they can escalate to MEPCO headquarters for additional work if needed.

Before you complain, keep ready

  • Your 14-digit reference number (open your bill to copy it).
  • A photo of the meter display, if the complaint is about readings.
  • Payment receipts for any disputed amount.
  • Your complaint number from previous attempts.

Not resolved? Escalate to NEPRA

If MEPCO does not resolve your complaint, the regulator NEPRA accepts consumer complaints through its consumer affairs complaint system on nepra.org.pk. Mention your MEPCO complaint number and attach the bill and receipts.

Beware of fake calls

MEPCO does not ask you to pay bills into personal accounts or to share OTPs. If a caller threatens disconnection unless you pay them, hang up and call 118.
